Outreach & Engagement Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Chief Operating Officer
WORK WEEK: 40 hours per week, with some weekends and evenings
WAGE CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt
OSHA RISK CLASSIFICATION: Medium
RATE OF PAY: $27.00 per hour
SUMMARY POSITION STATEMENT
This position involves crafting and executing campaigns to boost awareness and participation for programs/events, managing digital channels (social, web), creating content (flyers, emails, posts), building community partnerships, tracking results, and requiring strong communication, organization, and adaptability for a smaller team setting, often focusing on specific audiences like rural residents or event attendees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
- Develop and edit materials (flyers, emails, social media posts, presentations) for internal and external audiences.
- Help plan, implement, and track marketing/outreach campaigns for events, programs, or services.
- Manage website updates, social media, and digital all other communications.
- Build partnerships, represent the organization at events, and engage diverse community members.
- Track campaign effectiveness, analyze data, and recommend adjustments.
- Work closely with a small team, support overall marketing goals and internal coordination.
- Clean, valid Alaska driver’s license and ability to meet our insurance guidelines.
- Participate in outreach community events as needed.
- Assist Marketing & Outreach Manager in planning new strategies for outreach, marketing and social media campaigns.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality is required and expected to work the hours set by PCHS and/or the schedule set by supervisor.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. 2-year college preferred.
License: No license required.
Experience: Background in marketing, communications or outreach.
